1) Some application notes:

Need to arrange a visit with Arie to discuss how new GridFTP features can be used in SRM.

Raj mentions an ORNL fusion project that needs data movement capabilities--they are trying out GridFTP now. Difficulty is that they don't want to use certs. Can we set up RFT without certs?

Raj mentions interest in integrating data management pieces into Kepler.

2) Some technical notes

a) We talked about deploying GridFTP with LOTMAN enabled by default--presumably on OSG--should reduce the number of failures. Sounds a great idea. We can do this quickly.

b) We talked about getting a management interface to LOTMAN set up. Follow the SRM interface? Can we do this via the GridFTP WS interface?

c) We talked about getting the "SC'05 transfer scheduling" meeting in place.

3) SciDAC meeting

a) We agreed to propose two tutorials.

b) We discussed having some demos ready to show ("stealth demos")

c) Ian is checking with Thomas about whether is a "distributed systems project meeting" at SciDAC
