Present: Ann Chervenak Dan Gunter Ravi Madduri Ian Foster
Susan Turnbull indicates that the ESG-OSG-CEDPS meeting tentatively planned for September will not happen at that time.
We discussed having our CEDPS all-hands meeting the week of September 29th. We provisionally plan a full-day meeting on October 1, with side meetings before and after. Ann will send out email to check availability.
Discussion of data-related issues (Ann):
- Andrew has produced a document detailing a proposal for how to do storage allocation requests--presented in terms of "contracts." Discussion of this is ongoing.
- Data replication client has been branched for inclusion in GT4.2. Rob will present this at an upcoming meeting organized by Susan Turnbull. Ann is reaching out to various application communities. Raj is putting Ann in touch with the UltraViz group.
- Nick is making progress refining the SC demo which uses Stork. This is a work in progress.
- We are waiting for status information from UW on when GridFTP+LotMan will be in VDT.
