CEDS Project Midterm Meeting

Meeting Goals
1) Time for each area to move forward on their progress
2) Emphasizing and strengthening the application work, and ties to applications
3) Preparation for the midterm report
4) Improve cohesiveness both within the teams across the sites and between the teams

Registration fee of $50 (cash or check only) will be collected at the meeting to cover the cost of continental breakfast both days, drinks, afternoon snack on the first day, and lunch on the second day.
Suggested hotel is the the Marina Del Rey Hotel, which is walking distance to ISI and only a 10 minute cab ride from LAX. Ask for the ISI rate.

The meetings will be held in USC's Information Sciences Institute, 4676 Admiralty Way, Marina del Rey, CA 90292
Main meeting: 11th floor Conference Room (on northwest corner of building) Breakout rooms: 12th floor Conference Room (west side of building) and CGT Conference room (east side on 12th floor).
When arriving at ISI, please see the receptionist on the 10th floor, who will direct you to the conference room.
The ISI reception area opens at 8:30am.

- 9-11: Area progress reports
- 20min - welcome
- 20 mins - Data progress overview, Ann Chervenak
- 20 mins - Services progress overview, Kate Keahey
- 40 - Troubleshooting logging document discussion
- 11-4:45pm: Area breakouts, and lunch with each area on its own (we'll give you a list and a map)

- Dinner nearby, as a full group
March 13 (9-2:30)
- 9: Overview of breakouts from prevoius day, no more than 10 mins per area plus 10 mins discussion
- 10: Cross-area issues
- 10:30 - Work with OSG, ESG, etc
- 11:15 - work with other centers, ORNL, TeraGrid?
- 11:45-1 Lunch (catered)
- 1pm-2:30pm: discuss / work on 6 month report
- end at 2:30pm
